If you really want to look up the science behind Acupuncture, check out the studies about Bioelectrical Energy and Registered Acupuncture, because acupuncture has been registered (sort of) as a form of anesthesia in Canada - through actual TCM doctors and Acupuncturists technically deny the study. It is far more Eastern and so there is no Western science to it. As a holistic Energy Worker/Healer, I can understand what you had to say about you want drastic changes in the therapy that you go to, but those big named clients that he has (which is so much of an ego reason that he had his celebrity clients sign his wall) will probably go to him multiple times/twice a month for that kind of treatment. The fact that you just went once and have pre-treatment expectations might be why you felt like you had little changes when in fact the actual changes could have been a lot more than you know and yet far smaller than you understand.
