I found a tiny budgie egg at a pet shop. If I could incubate it, would I be able to raise it? With these big human hands? It's mother had just been sold. This meant the egg would have no chance without me giving it a try.

We often find abondoned eggs in our backyard. I've thought about trying to hatch and raise them but never commited. This video has given me inspiration to give it a go.

Definitely bless this guy for his patience & care of these animals. I rescued a Robin a couple of years ago. We have a nest that Robins have use for years on our porch. They must have been trying to fledge. I found two out of three. First one was easy, right by the porch. The second one made it to the corner of our fence & that corner is covered with Morning Glories & they gave cover to the tiny bird. Must have been instinct. I could hear it but not see it. I found it in the corner & just as I reached for the baby bird, a cat's paw came zipping thru the other side of of fence and, like a shark attack, it was gone. Poor little bird. I wasn't the only one who heard it chirping. At least I saved one !
